1. Service Description

RoleDog is an English communication practice app for professionals. Users role-play workplace scenarios with AI personas through text chat and voice calls, then receive English proficiency evaluations. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate conversations and feedback.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

• The App uses anonymous authentication. No email, password, or personal login credentials are required.
• Your account is tied to your device. Deleting the App or clearing its data may result in permanent loss of your account and progress.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your device.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• The App offers free and premium tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment terms are governed by the respective store's policies.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Share, redistribute, or resell access to the App
• Submit abusive, harmful, or inappropriate content through the App

6. AI-Generated Content

• Conversations and evaluations are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI). AI outputs may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete.
• The App provides English practice feedback, not professional language instruction or certification. Evaluations are approximate and should not be relied upon for official assessments.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, AI prompts, and content, is owned by AB180 Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of text and audio you submit through the App.
• By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your submissions for the purpose of providing the service (AI conversation and evaluation).

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.roledog.pro/privacy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Advertisements

The free tier of the App may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (Google AdMob). Ad content is not controlled by us. You may remove ads by subscribing to the premium tier.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AB180 Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of progress, or interruption of service.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, South Korea.
